Arsene Wenger Lands New Deal In France, Starts In Summer

After years of coaching in England, Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has landed a new job back in his country, France.

According to reports in British media on Wednesday, Wenger has landed the role of a pundit at Euro 2016 which kicks off in about 100 days.

The Daily Star UK reports that the Gunners boss’ close friendship with Paris Saint-Germaine president Nasser Al-Khelaifi resulted in the Frenchman getting the new summer job.

Al-Khelaifi, who is also the CEO of beIN Media Group offered Wenger the pundit role at the tournament.

“We will have a new consultant who completely adheres to our philosophy: Arsene Wenger,”

Florent Houzot, beIN Sport director, said: “We will have a new consultant who completely adheres to our philosophy: Arsene Wenger.

“He is a friend with Nasser Al-Khelaifi and he appreciates our way of treating football He will join our panel of experts: Robert Pires, Marcel Desailly, Omar da Fonseca and Jean-Pierre Papin.”

Wenger will work alongside former French international Marcel Desailly and ex-Arsenal attacking midfield wonder, Robert Pires.
