J.2ta was born in the great city of lagos into the family of Edward Tuta but grew and brought up in bauchi city (beehive). he's an indigene of Shendam local govt, Jos Plateau state. J.2ta started singing officially in the 1997. An ex-choirmaster who has a dream to be famous one day by stamping his name in the board.of the Nigerian music industry.to him the race has just began.
