Last Sunday was fun filled in the city of Tafawa Balewa as people of the town came out to witness first of it kind event in celebration of RT hon Yakubu Dogara.

The Young Achievers Awards has come and gone but the impact and the memories will remain eternal.
Participants of the Sai Dogara challenge were issued certificate of participation and awards given out to distinguish young people from and outside the constituency of the speaker House of Reps.
The event had an unprecedented crowd to the delight of the organisers.
Noticeable personalities include
1. Eng. Isuwa Galla- National president ZDA
2. Hussaini I. Hassan- SSA policy and strategy to the speaker House of Reps
3.Turaki Hassan- SSA media and public affairs to the speaker House of Reps
4. Arc. Rufai Samson - Director youth, Dogara Campaign Council
Y.L Gambo PhD- Senior lecturer Unijos and strategist Dogara Campaign Council.
The awards is also geared at celebrating the success and developmental projects of the speaker, and to drum support and mobilise for the reelection of the speaker.
The program which started in the evening, and into the night was full of entertainment as legendary Hip Hop artiste Boc Madaki, Dogo John, CMAN amongst others thrilled the audiences.
Hallmark of the was presentation of awards to the following persons and categories.
1. Artiste of the year-
2.Sportsman of the year
3.Actor of the year
4. Song of the year.

B. Kunzaar- Runner up (N100,000)
C. Izzy Gungrap- second runner up (N70,000)
2. Jhar Category:
A. Budicious A1- Winner ( N150,000)
B.Asher- runner up (N100,000)
C. Richard Jharyum- second runner up (70,000)
3. Hausa Category
A.Yusuf Dauda - Winner (N150,000)
B.Cino Wayne - runner up (N100,000)
C.Ibrahim Barigo - second runner up ( N70,000)
4.Fulani Category
A. Mr Dee- winner (N1500)
B.Yahaya Nikol - runner up (N100,000).
The program was aimed at not just for the reelection of Rt.Hon Yakubu Dogara but to also discover new talents in music and the creative industry in general. The program also serve as a medium to encourage and elavate existing artiste to new paradigm.
Legendary rapper BOC Madaki also solicited on behalf of the artiste to the organisers to make it an annual event.
Jesse Josh, a fine and applied artist made a graffiti portrait of Rt Hon Yakubu Dogara instantly during the show to the delight of of the crowd. The artist also made a free hand sketch drawing of Dogara as his gift to the speaker.
Indeed the program was one of a kind.
