Kano Friday mosques Imams’ chairman is dead

The Chairman of Kano State Friday Mosques Imams’ Forum, Sheikh Fadhlu Dan-Almajiri, has died Monday night in Kano.


The Islamic cleric died at the age of 66 at a hospital in the Kano metropolis. Confirming the death to Daily Trust on Tuesday, son of the deceased Islamic cleric, Malam Muttaka Dan-Almajiri, revealed that he died after a protracted illness and that his funeral prayers were conducted at his residence at layin ‘Yan Kabalu, Fagge, in Kano on Tuesday.
